Coasteering is our signature activity and the one that put Anglesey Adventures on the map. We were the first company to offer coasteering in North Wales, and decades later it’s still our most popular adventure.
You’ll swim through crystal-clear waters, scramble over rocks, explore sea caves, and — if you dare — leap from cliff edges into the sea below. Every jump is optional, so you can push your limits or take it easy. Your instructor will guide you to the best spots based on conditions and your group’s confidence.
Sessions run along the dramatic coastline near Holyhead, with routes chosen to match the tide and weather for the best possible experience.

Make it a full day with a surprise second activity. You won't find out what it is until the day — that's half the fun.
You don't need to be a strong swimmer. Being confident in the sea is more important. Participants wear buoyancy aids which provide plenty of buoyancy.
Coasteering is suitable from age 8. In July and August, a willing adult must participate with under-18s.
No — every jump is completely optional. You can watch, take a different route, or just enjoy the swimming and scrambling.
Sessions are adapted to conditions. If the weather makes coasteering unsafe, we'll offer an alternative activity or reschedule.
If you can carry two bags of shopping up the stairs without stopping, you're probably fit enough. We tailor sessions to the group's ability.
